This is a skill contest, whereby individuals choosing to participate  Fill out offers from sponsers in the amount equal to $75 OR pay a $75 contest entry fee , and contestants must submit a written or typed essay or video on the topic: What Inspires You? OR Why You Want This House.

 Essays must be minimum of 100 words, and maximum of 500 words, and must be the creation of the contestant, unique for this contest. Videos must be no longer than 3 minutes. All submissions are judged on creativity and passion, by a Board of Judges, who will score the submissions and determine winner(s). There is no element of chance. Prizes include a family home in Bunnell, Florida if target number of entries (5,920) are received, or cash prizes in the event the target number of entries is not received. Once we reach at least 1,000 entries, there will also be $10,000 given to charity with contestants having an opportunity to help select which charity. Read Official Contest Rules  for full details. To Enter: Those eligible may enter the Contest by paying the $75 contest entry fee, and submitting their qualified essay or video, along with their contact information in one of the two following ways: Enter Via Online at Freehouseandmore.com

 Enter by clicking on any of the “Enter” links throughout the website Freehouseandmore.com, and creating a username and password which can be used to log-in to Freehouseandmore.com . Once logged-in, persons will be instructed to fill out offers of equal value of $75 or to pay the contest entry fee of $75.00 which can be paid via major credit card through Paypal processing, via a Paypal account and other sources listed on the site, .

Once the entry fee has been paid, members then submit qualified essay or video through their member back-office, which accessed through logging-in. This process creates an electronic database of contestants’ information, submissions, and contact information for winner notifications, contest updates, etc. . You may send your entry fee of $75.00 and your essay or video submission via our online submission form. Make sure to include name, address, phone number, email address with your video or essay. Contest submissions must be one of the following:

1) Essay (must be in english) – Written or typed essay of 200 – 500 words on the broad topic of: What Inspires You? OR Why you want this house. 2) Short Video (must be in english) – length of 3 minutes or less on broad topic of: What Inspires You? OR Why You Want This House

Guardian Freehouseandmore.com reserves the right to disqualify any entry outside these guidelines.

Contest submissions will not be returned.

All submissions will be judged by Freehouseandmore.com, and a  Board of Judges. Prizes:

If the target number of 5,920 entries are received, then 1 Grand Prize will be awarded to the winner, The House in Bunnell, Florida 2nd Place prize of $10,000, and 3rd Place prize of $5,000.

If 5,920 entries are NOT received, then the house will NOT be awarded, and the prize chart will instead be as follows:

If 5,001 – 5,919 entries are received, 1st place prize of $50,000 and 2nd place prize of $20,000 and three prizes of $5,000 each for the runners up in 3rd, 4th, and 5th place.

If 3,001 – 5,000 entries are received, 1st place prize of $25,000 and 2nd place prize of $10,000, three prizes of $2,500 each for the runners up in 3rd, 4th, and 5th place.

If 1,000 – 3,000 entries are received, 1st place prize of $10,000, 2nd place prize $2,500, and three prizes of $1,000 each for the runners up in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. * Once we reach this bottom-line target, there will also be $10,000 given to charity with contestants having an opportunity to help select which charity.

If 400-999 entries are received, 1st place prize of $5,000, and four prizes of $1,000 each to runners up in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th places.

Any amount of entries received under 399, would result in 1st place prize of $1,000.

Any cash prizes will be paid in the form of cashier’s check, official bank check, or business check payable to winner, and not in actual federal reserve notes or any other currency.

Contest opens March 25, 2009 and is scheduled to run until December 31, 2009 or until target number of entries are received. Official contest rules cover details on contest timeline and end.

2. Log in with your username and password, then follow instructions to either fill out offers or  pay your $75 contest entry fee (major credit card, paypal, or cashier’s check or money order in the mail)

3. After submitting your $75 contest entry fee or filling out offers of equal value, you may log in and submit your video or essay. It’s that simple! Judges will review all incoming essays and videos, and score them on creativity and passion, until they are able to pick the top best essays for the winners.
